What is most notable about the Ski areas near Santa Fe, New Mexico?

The ski areas of New Mexico surrounding the City Different are all high altitude areas with bottoms at 8000 and topping out above 12000 feet.  The dry air produces the worlds lightest powder and with the mountains being on the edge, the storms pass rapidly away leaving a fresh pow pow dump under our awesome bright blue sunny skies.
